Top permits: $86M for Rilea’s Mohawk at Wynwood, $31M for Craig Robins’ office-retail project in Miami Design District
🏆 New Building: The largest permit issued was an $85.6 million new construction permit for Mohawk at Wynwood, a 300-unit apartment project at 50 Northeast 29th Street in Miami. The permit covers 488,880 square feet for Miami-based Rilea Group’s development. In January, the developer secured a $149.2 million construction loan, which included $124.2 million in C-PACE financing from Nuveen Green Capital and a $25 million loan from Abanca USA. Rilea, led by owner and CEO Alan Ojeda and President Diego Ojeda, bought the land for $22 million in 2021.
