Spirit Airlines HQ sells at auction for under half of its $200M construction cost

South Florida’s deep roots in aviation sprouted two high-profile real estate deals this week. An affiliate of Boston-based Hill City Capital placed the winning bid of $93.3 million for the vacant Spirit Airlines headquarters in Boca Raton, the Miami Herald reported. That’s less than half of its 2024 construction cost.
