Pending sale of $88M beachfront estate tops big week in Palm Beach County
A new beachfront mansion in Palm Beach led Palm Beach County’s luxury market last week, landing a contract at an asking price of $88.4 million. Buyers signed 14 contracts between July 20 and July 26, according to the weekly report by Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team, which tracks listings in Palm Beach County above $3 million. The total asking dollar volume of those contracts was $190.7 million, up 70 percent from the previous week. The previous report recorded 17 contracts with a total asking dollar volume of $110.7 million. Of the contracts marked pending last week, 13 were for single-family homes.
