Movers: Overseas firm buys Kayne Anderson in $1.4B deal
Bridgepoint Group is expanding its U.S. footprint with the acquisition of Boca Raton-based Kayne Anderson Real Estate. In a deal valued at $1.4 billion, Kayne Anderson shareholders will receive $189 million in newly issued Bridgepoint shares and $759 million in cash, The Real Deal previously reported. KARE co-founder Al Rabil will continue to lead the business under the Kayne Bridgepoint brand. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.
