Mounting bills: Miami Freedom Park vendors, subcontractors seeking $13M-plus in allegedly unpaid work at stadium complex

A number of vendors and subcontractors are going after Miami Freedom Park for money they say they are owed for work totaling more than $13 million, according to lawsuits and liens that have been filed against the developer.  Miami Freedom Park is a mixed-use development that’s under construction and anchored by Nu Stadium on the former Melreese golf course site in Miami. Billionaire brothers Jorge and Jose Mas, David Beckham own the venture, as well as the Major League Soccer team Inter Miami, which plays at Nu Stadium.
