Longpoint beefs up Miami-Dade industrial portfolio with $195M acquisition
Longpoint Partners, one of the most active warehouse owners in South Florida, acquired a 10-building Miami-Dade warehouse portfolio in a nine-figure deal. The Boston-based real estate private equity firm paid $195 million for 730,000 square feet of small-bay warehouse space, or $267 per square foot, across 42 acres in Miami-Dade industrial submarkets, according to a company news release. The portfolio was 90 percent leased at the time of the acquisition, with 74 tenants averaging close to 10,000 square feet each, according to the release. The 10 buildings average 73,000 square feet.
