Ken Griffin-linked broker Mario Borda buys out Wynwood condos
Five business entities managed by broker Mario Borda — who has worked on behalf of billionaire Citadel CEO Ken Griffin — bought out condo building in Miami’s Wynwood district. Borda was behind a 35-unit buy at Wynwood Lofts, at 250 Northwest 23rd Street in Miami’s art district, the South Florida Business Journal reported. Griffin, who is building a headquarters campus for Citadel and Citadel Securities in Brickell, has spent over $1 billion purchasing prime residential real estate in South Florida, including assembling a 27-acre Palm Beach oceanfront compound and acquiring multiple properties in Star Island and Coconut Grove.
