Construction of a nearly 3,000-unit mixed-use megadevelopment in Miramar started, as the Ansin family’s Sunbeam pushes deeper into real estate. Miramar-based Sunbeam Properties and Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles, led by Kenneth Stiles, are partnering on the 125-acre Miramar Cove project that will consist of 2,874 residential units, 400,000 square feet of retail anchored by a 35,000-square-foot grocery store, 125,000 square feet of offices and a 185-key hotel, according to a Miramar Cove news release.
