David MacNeil, the founder of WeatherTech, dropped $68.3 million on a third oceanfront estate in Manalapan. It brings his total spend on property in the small coastal enclave to $162.3 million. Records show MacNeil bought the mansion at 1940 South Ocean Boulevard from Frank and Dolores Mennella. Philip Lyle Smith and Carla Ferreira-Smith with Luxury Resort Portfolio had the listing, and Margit Brandt with Premier Estate Properties brought the buyer.
