RentSpree partners with Hive MLS to expand access in Southeast

RentSpree has partnered with Hive MLS to integrate rental application and tenant screening tools directly into Hive’s multiple listing service platform.

The new integration will be available at no cost to Hive MLS subscribers in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Hive MLS services more than 18 MLSs in the Southeast — representing about 15,000 rental listings annually.

The partnership marks another expansion for RentSpree in the region, where it already collaborates with Georgia Realtors, First MLS, North Carolina Realtors and RESides MLS.

Rapid population growth and housing demand in cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, and Raleigh, North Carolina — as well as in smaller markets like Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina — are fueling increased rental activity in the Southeast.

Local job growth and migration from higher-cost states continue to intensify pressure on the housing market — particularly rentals — the companies said.
