Neighbors of Jeff Bezos’ $165 Million Beverly Hills Mansion Call Cops on Kris Jenner’s 70th Birthday Party Over Noise Complaints

Reality queen Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party was one of the most star-studded events of the season—and, according to reports, one of the most raucous, prompting billionaire host Jeff Bezos' neighbors to call the cops on multiple occasions complaining about the level of noise coming from his $165 million mansion.

According to TMZ, multiple law enforcement officers were seen arriving at Bezos' enormous estate after "multiple noise complaints" were made about the glamorous soiree, which saw the likes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, and Adele in attendance.

Unlike many Kardashian-Jenner celebrations, the "James Bond"-themed affair, which took place on Nov. 8, was not captured for the family's reality show, "The Kardashians," allowing the A-list attendees to let loose without any pressure from looming cameras.

And let loose they did—at least if the noise complaints are anything to go by.

"It was just all about celebrating Kris," an anonymous source told People of the celebration. "And it was everything you'd expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family. It was obvious that she had the best night."

But while Kris and her guests—including many members of her family—appeared to have had the time of their lives at the event, neighbors of Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez Bezos, were reportedly less than thrilled with the level of noise that could be heard emanating from the Amazon founder's extraordinarily lavish abode.

TMZ reports that police officers were seen arriving at the venue in patrol cars—with sources telling the outlet that the noise was largely blamed on a live performance by Bruno Mars, who sent the guests "absolutely nuts" with his on stage appearance.

The outlet states that attending officers spoke with security guards on site and issued a warning about the noise levels—only the return to the property later on in the night after learning that the mansion had been outfitted with several fake hedges, which had been set up without a permit in a bid to block the home from view and control traffic.

These hedges reportedly had to be taken down immediately, just as many of the A-list attendees were leaving the party.

While noise complaints are not always viewed as the most serious of offenses, they are taken very "seriously" by the City of Beverly Hills, which has multiple local laws in place to deal with excessive noise, particularly after 10 p.m. local time.

These regulations include a specific restriction on any "sound amplifying equipment," which was likely used in Mars' performance, as well as to generate any other music that was played throughout the night.

"It shall be unlawful for any person within any residential zone of the city to use or operate any sound
amplifying equipment between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. of the
following day in such a manner as to be distinctly audible at or beyond the property line of the property on which the equipment is located," the City's noise regulation states.

It adds: "It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully make or continue, or cause to be made or continued, any loud, unnecessary, excessive, or unusual noise which unreasonably disturbs the peace and quiet or which causes discomfort or annoyance to any reasonable person of normal sensitiveness."

Any residents who violate these ordinances "may be subject to summary abatement, or by a restraining order, or injunction issued by a court of competent jurisdiction," the regulations note.

Luckily, it seems that Jenner's celebrations were not negatively impacted by the police presence at the venue, with the reality TV star later taking to Instagram to gush about her "magical night" with her "beautiful family and friends."

"I feel so blessed to have my precious family and all my beautiful friends come together for one night to celebrate and make these amazing memories together!" she added in another post.

Images taken inside the party show that Jenner went to great lengths to bring her "0070" theme to life, with photos capturing special ashtrays and logos emblazoned with her custom logo, as well as poker chips that featured different photos of her face.

Gambling machines could also be seen in the background of several images at the event, which took place in an enormous tent that was set up at the back of Bezos' enormous property.

Bezos has owned the opulent abode since 2020, when he purchased it from music mogul David Geffen for a staggering $165 million.

Known as the Warner Estate, the 9-acre spread was originally built for Jack Warner, the late former president of Warner Bros—but it is understood to have undergone many an upgrade since it was first completed.

When Bezos purchased the estate, it featured "expansive terraces, sprawling gardens, several guest houses, a tennis court and its own nine-hole golf course," according to the Wall Street Journal.

Despite its incredible opulence, the home is just one of many in Bezos and Sanchez Bezos' $100 million property portfolio, which also includes their primary abode, a collection of homes on Miami's Indian Creek Island, which is more commonly known as "Billionaire Bunker" thanks to the enormous net worths of its residents.

Before moving to Florida, Bezos was largely based outside of Seattle, in a tony suburb called Medina, where he has owned multiple homes over the years.

Meanwhile Jenner's primary residence is located in Hidden Hills, where she lives just a stone's throw from many of her family members, including daughters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.

Perhaps her most famous abode, however, is her so-called Kardashians House, which is where she lived for many years with her former spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, and which served as the set of the family's wildly-popular reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" for years.

Jenner put that property on the market in February with an asking price of $13.5 million and it remains on the market.

Speaking about her decision to sell the expansive 8,000-square-foot abode, Jenner told the New York Times that she believes the time has come for another family to make their own memories within its walls.

"I’ve shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I’m excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners," she said.

The outlet noted that nobody is currently living in the property—which has been listed by Tomer Fridman, of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California—and the furniture featured in the listing photos was brought in especially to fill the home while it is on the market.

However, should a potential buyer take a liking to the interior decor elements, there is an option to purchase the property fully furnished for an additional $400,000.
