Mark Wahlberg’s Mansion Designer Lists Imposing Fort Lauderdale ‘Masterpiece’ for $10 Million
The architectural mastermind behind Mark Wahlberg's enormous new Florida mansion has put his own personal residence on the market for just a hair under $10 million as he prepares to relocate to the same ultra exclusive community where the Hollywood star recently laid down roots.
Mansion designer to the stars Aldo Stark purchased the land on which his opulent Fort Lauderdale abode now sits for the relatively meager sum of $600,000 in 2018, before he set about designing his own "architectural masterpiece" on the half-acre parcel.
Completed in 2020 and named "Casa MiaBella," the resulting dwelling boasts more than 9,200 square feet of living space, including six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and a jaw-dropping array of modern amenities.
No expense was spared on the design of the dwelling, which features rare materials from all over the world, like the Brazilian onyx used for the bar in the grand salon to the tiger wood and marble that grace the walls in the formal dining room.
"Renowned for his precision, artistry, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Stark has created a residence that is both a personal statement and a defining example of contemporary South Florida luxury," the listing—which is held by Senada Adzem of Douglas Elliman—notes.

In keeping with Stark's "signature style," the property boasts an incredibly modern, cutting-edge aesthetic with bold accents, gold flourishes, and "show-stopping design moments throughout," the listing continues.
The single-story property is packed with dramatic moments, beginning with the five-car "gallery garage," which features a wall of glass that turns the space into its own art feature visible from the main living space—the perfect offering for any car collectors eager to put their vehicles on full display.
"The five-car gallery garage, fully enclosed in glass and accented with designer lighting, functions as both a practical amenity and a refined display, exemplifying Stark's commitment to design as an integral lifestyle element," the listing adds.
Inside the main living room, soaring ceilings are accented with designer light fixtures that add to the industrial vibe, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that blur the lines between inside and out.
The kitchen is one of the largest spaces in the home and exemplifies Stark's dedication to elevating even the most common of spaces, having been outfitted with all manner of unique materials, including rare stone slabs, beautiful wooden walls, and gleaming metal appliances.
Other common living spaces include a "dramatic grand salon" with a light-up bar, a formal dining space with a staggering stone table, an executive office with beautiful views of the gardens, a "fully equipped fitness studio," and a dedicated home theater.
There are also several expansive outdoor entertaining areas, including a covered patio that serves as an external living room—complete with its own TV—a dining space, and a covered bar with an enormous screen that is sure to appeal to any sports fanatics.
"A fire-flanked pool and elevated spa are complemented by fountains, sculptural pergolas, and meticulously planted rows of Italian cypress and palms, creating a private and visually striking environment both day and night," the description adds.
Outside of the property itself, the local community also provides a very luxurious spread of amenities.

Set within the exclusive Coral Ridge Country Club, the property benefits from the community's extraordinary security, as well as enjoying proximity to "Fort Lauderdale's pristine beaches, premier golf courses, and refined dining, cultural, and leisure destinations."
Stark has resided in the dwelling for the last five years, but is now ready to move on to a new megamansion in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Stone Creek Ranch in Delray Beach, where Wahlberg's new home is situated.
The actor purchased one of Stark's mansions for the sky-high price of $37 million in October, having relocated to the exclusive Sunshine State enclave from Nevada.
The stylish sanctuary spans 18,206 square feet and boasts seven bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, two powder rooms, a home theater, cigar lounge, wine cellar, gym, sauna, guesthouse, and resort-style pool.
The home, which was initially built in 2017 before being bought and overhauled by Stark, comes with a seven-car garage.
Stone Creek Ranch offers what the listing describes as the ultimate in "privacy, security, and exclusivity," which no doubt served as a major draw for an actor with global fame.
"Privacy, security, and exclusivity remain the primary reasons why billionaires and global icons continue to choose Stone Creek Ranch, a haven where world-class design meets complete discretion," it read.
Meanwhile, Palazzo di Lago was described as an "architectural masterpiece and a rarefied offering that embodies the pinnacle of luxury living in South Florida.
"This Italian contemporary estate is one of the most distinguished and impeccably executed residential compounds in the United States," it added. "Inspired by the tranquil glamour of Lake Como and infused with the seductive allure of Bond’s Casino Royale, this Italian contemporary masterpiece is an ode to elegance, privacy, and security."
Wahlberg—a self-confessed fitness fanatic—was undoubtedly bowled over by the home's wellness wing, which features "a fully equipped gym, sauna, and massage room, and effortlessly opens out to a private tennis court and a saltwater lagoon pool that holds 170,000 gallons of cascading, crystal-clear water."

Luxurious finishes and fixtures can be found in every room of the home, including "exquisite crystal chandeliers" that were custom-designed to cast an "ethereal glow" throughout the dwelling.
One of the more unique amenities in the home is its hidden cigar lounge, which boasts an advanced air-purification system.
There is a separate guesthouse ideal for use by staff or visiting family and friends.
Adzem previously spoke to Realtor.com about why Stone Creek Ranch was luring in so many high-profile buyers, despite lacking the somewhat glitzier amenities found in places like Palm Beach or Manalapan.
But what Stone Creek Ranch lacks in private yacht docks or exciting nightclubs it makes up for in one very key amenity: complete and utter privacy.
For the rich and powerful, that level of security and privacy is far more "valuable" than any beach or boat dock could ever be, according to Adzem, whose team has been responsible for the sale of a majority of homes inside Stone Creek.
Speaking to Realtor.com in November, she revealed that she has seen a significant shift in her wealthy clients' demands over the last few years. Those who would once never have considered living in a Florida mansion without private beach access or a dock capable of housing their yacht are now turning their backs on those amenities in favor of seclusion away from prying eyes.
"I'm working with a very high-profile couple right now [who] no longer want to live on Star Island in Miami ... because [they feel they cannot] enjoy their pool or their yard with people on boats going past and taking pictures," Adzem revealed.
"They just want to have their peace. And that makes so much sense. [Privacy] is valuable to them. They'd rather have all this privacy where no one is looking at them, they can run around with their kids, they can wear whatever. That's what's really valuable."
