Jrue Holiday Finalizes $6.69 Million Sale of His Boston Mansion After Trade to the Portland Trail Blazers
Former Boston Celtics player Jrue Holiday has officially sold his sprawling Massachusetts home for $6.69 million—two months after going into a contract with a buyer and months after he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The 35-year-old—who moved from the Boston-based team to the Trail Blazers in July—listed the 8,850-square-foot abode on Oct. 1.
A mere three weeks after putting it on the market, Realtor.com® exclusively revealed that he had gone into contract with a buyer. However, the sale was contingent on certain conditions.
Now, it appears those conditions have been met as property records reveal that Holiday sold the dwelling for $6.69 million on Dec. 22.
The NBA star snapped up the abode in May 2024 for $6.5 million.

At the time, the home had only just been completed—meaning that Holiday's buyer will be moving into an abode that has only ever been lived in by one person and, even then, just for a short amount of time.
The listing showcased the modern home's large, bright rooms and a white and beige palette.
According to the description, the home "offers the rare combination of a prime location, modern luxury, and exceptional craftsmanship."
The property boasts a modern facade and a lush green setting.
Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with an expansive living area, complete with glass doors that open to the exterior, alongside a cozy fireplace with a marble mantel.
There is also a chic chef's kitchen, which is "outfitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, an oversized island, and sleek quartz countertops" and is described as the "heart of the home," the listing says.
There is also a charming breakfast nook, the perfect place for people to gather.
Elsewhere on the first level, there is a sophisticated office space and an elegant dining room, which boasts black wallpaper adorned with trees and birds.
The lower level is the epitome of an entertainer's dream as it features a custom home theater.

There is also a temperature-controlled wine room and a private gym with a sauna.
Upstairs is a large primary suite with a large marble wall, which is anchored by a huge TV and fireplace.
The primary bathroom features a stylish his-and-her vanity, a soaking tub, and a large glass shower—all surrounded by marble walls.
Then there is a custom-designed closet with plenty of space for future owners to get their glam on.
"Outdoors, a fully fenced backyard is an entertainer's dream, boasting a custom-designed outdoor kitchen and patio for gatherings year-round. Additional highlights include a three-car garage, meticulous landscaping, and designer details at every turn," the listing adds.
Holiday started playing in college for the UCLA Bruins before being drafted in the first round in 2009 by the Philadelphia 76ers.
After four years with the Sixers, Holiday went on to play for the New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks. He joined the Celtics in 2023.
During the five games in last year's NBA finals, Holiday averaged 14.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists‚ helping to lead the team to a championship win.

He has also competed in two Olympics with Team USA, achieving the team gold at both the 2020 Tokyo Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The sporting superstar signed a four-year contract extension with the Celtics in April 2024, worth an estimated $135 million, just one month before he bought his Newton property.
However, he spent just two seasons with the team before he was traded to the Trail Blazers in July of this year.
When he's not on the East Coast, the Southern California native also has a home in Chatsworth, CA.
