Jason Schwartzman Lists His California Cottage for $1.75 Million—Less Than a Year After Purchasing It
"Mountainhead" actor Jason Schwartzman has put his California dwelling on the market for $1.75 million—less than a year after he purchased it.
The Hollywood heavyweight, 45, initially listed his four-bedroom, three-bathroom on Aug. 14 for $1.8 million, however, slashed the price and relisted the property on Sept. 12 for $1.75 million.
Schwartzman and his wife, Brady Cunningham, with whom he shares daughter Una, snapped up the abode on Oct. 31, 2024 for $1.75 million.
The home, which was built in 1926, sprawls across 2,323 square feet and is surrounded by lush greenery and its facade is made up of a white tone with dark green trim.
Although the home has been remodeled since it was built, many of its original charming details, such as "graceful arches, latch windows, built-ins, Red Oak flooring, and heigh ceilings" have been preserved, according to the listing.

Upon entering the property, guests are greeted with one of those stunning arches as well as an expansive living and dining area that accentuates the home's open floor plan.
The living room features plenty of seating areas, a cozy fireplace, and a large window that allows natural light to flood inside.
The adjacent dining room comes complete with a enough room for a large table and doors that lead to the charming patio area.
Moving into the kitchen, there are also quartz tops, open shelving, a neutral-toned backsplash, a "refurbished vintage stove, and farm sink," reads the listing.
Next to the culinary center, there is an adorable breakfast nook for families to come together in the mornings.
One of the main bedrooms features a king-sized bed, a large window, an expansive closet, and two French doors to the patio.
One of the three bathrooms comes complete with a wooden vanity and a glass shower.

Another bedroom is the perfect spot for a family as it boasts two twin beds, making it the perfect place for kids to call home.
The last bedroom follows the similar cozy aesthetic as the other rooms as it features a large bed, an arched window, and a charming red chair for guests to read in while admiring the greenery.
The other bathroom comes complete with a double vanity, two circular mirrors, and a glass shower.
Moving to the backyard, there is a large dining table that sits under a gazebo as well a coffee table with two chairs.
Just steps away from the property is the chic guesthouse, which features a cozy living area and tile flooring.
Although the guest kitchen is smaller, it still offers up the same state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances.
The bedroom comes complete with a large bedroom and mirror that slides open to a closet.
The bathroom features a soaking tub, standing sink, and white cabinetry.

According to the listing, the property is a "beautifully remodeled Tudor-style cottage nestled in the heart of Toluca Lake."
Schwartzman rose to stardom thanks to his role in Wes Anderson's 1998 film, "Rushmore."
His success continued as he then appeared in "The Darjeeling Limited," "Fantastic Mr. Fox," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Saving Mr. Banks," and many other films.
