Inside Patriots QB Drake Maye and Wife Ann Michael’s Stunning Marital Home—as He Returns to New England After Super Bowl Heartbreak

by Kelsi Karruli

Just days before the New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye admitted he wants to rewind the clock to the "beginning" of his first Super Bowl appearance and "do it all again," his wife, Ann Michael revealed a candid glimpse inside the couple's marital home.

Drake and Ann Michael, both 23, tied the knot in June 2025, having met in middle school in North Carolina. The couple purchased their first home together in Massachusetts in April—and moved in together in July, after Ann Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where they both attended college.

Ann Michael joined her spouse at the Levi's Stadium during the Super Bowl, which saw the Patriots suffer a devastating 13-29 loss against the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 8.

In the wake of the game, Drake—whose performance throughout the game was rocky at best—admitted to reporters during a press conference that he wished he could "redo" the entire matchup, admitting that there were multiple mistakes made that he would like a chance to correct.

"What would I like to have back? I’d like to go back to the beginning and redo it," he said, according to Fox News. There’s so many plays that can decide and change the game. I think, what was it? 19-7 or 22-7, and I have the fumble or whatever, and they returned it for a touchdown.

"There were plays in the first half where I felt like I could’ve made a better throw, or made a better decision and really just comes to who makes the plays and who doesn’t. They made the plays tonight."

Drake will now return to New England and take a few months off until returning to the field for preseason training in June or July, depending on the Patriots' schedule, giving him an opportunity to brush off the heartbreaking loss—and spend time with his wife, whom he married in an intimate ceremony in June 2025.

The happy couple officially moved in together the following month, when Ann Michael filmed herself driving from North Carolina to Massachusetts in a car filled with her belongings.

Since then, Ann Michael, who is a Pilates instructor and lifestyle influencer, shared regular updates about her new life in New England, posting candid "day in the life" videos on her social media accounts—including a recent clip in which she filmed herself packing for the Super Bowl.

Ann Michael was joined at the major sporting event by Drake's parents and his siblings, with the NFL pro previously revealing that one of his favorite things about the Patriots' home games was hosting his loved ones at their house.

"My parents come to every game. They're always here, it's just special sharing these moments with them and going home and probably playing ping-pong until 1:30 or something," he revealed during a press conference after the Patriots won the NFL Wild Card Round over the Los Angeles Chargers.

"Having them in the house is cool, three of my best friends. And obviously, Ann Michael, so I can't forget about her."

Since graduating, Ann Michael has been by her husband's side for almost all of his games, traveling across the U.S. to many of the Patriots' matchups—while also continuing to share insights into her experiences online, earning a legion of followers in the process.

To date, Ann Michael boasts more than 1 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, where she reveals what life is really like as one of the NFL's most popular WAGs—a term that refers to the wives and girlfriends of high-profile athletes.

In one recent clip, the influencer welcomed fans and followers into the primary bedroom at the couple's home as she revealed everything she was packing ahead of her Super Bowl trip.

In the clip, Ann Michael stood inside the couple's primary bedroom, which boasts soaring ceilings, light wood flooring, and a large bed.

The WAG packed several outfits in her two suitcases before packing her toiletries in their primary bathroom, which features marble countertops and a glass enclosed shower.

She captioned the clip, "Pack with me for the Super Bowl!!"

“Pack with me for the Super Bowl. I’m so excited. I have this adorable Away luggage. It’s seriously so cute, [and] we’re going with a huge bag this time—maybe even the carry-on too," she said at the beginning of the clip.

“We’re starting with jeans. This might be criminal, but I have more jeans than the amount of days. Now, we’re just throwing in some tops," she said as she showed 10 pairs of denim.

“This bag is all ready to be zipped up. She’s a heavy one [and I have this] cute luggage tag that says, ‘Go Pats 10,’ I’m going to put on there. Now, the big bag is done, [and] I’m just going to throw a few things in [my] carry-on," she added.

In another video, she shared footage of herself cooking in her chef's kitchen, which boasts marble countertops and a matching marble backsplash, white cabinets, and stainless steel appliances.

It also gave a glimpse into her dining area, which came complete with a large table and elegant overhead lighting, and the living room, which has a cozy fireplace.

Elsewhere in their home, there is a large mirror, where Ann shows off her social media-worthy ensembles.

The property is also complete with large windows with automatic blinds and a massive backyard, which appears to flood into the woods.

Ann Michael first rose to social media stardom for her baking skills, which she has heavily documented online.

Drake has admitted that he is not blessed with the same skills as his wife in the kitchen and leaves the baking to her, confessing that the most he can whip up is a "good bacon, egg, and cheese."

During a press conference, Drake gushed about his wife, noting that he was grateful for her support during his career.

“After we got married, she came up here and had never lived up north. [She] had never seen this much snow on the ground, so obviously it was an adjustment for her," he said.

"She’s loved it, she’s loved the people up here, living up here [and] she loves the support. She’s got her own little journey that’s been awesome, being herself and that’s the best thing about her and what I love her for."

He added, “Her watching my middle school football games playing quarterback to now getting a chance to watch me in the Super Bowl … I wouldn’t rather do it with anybody else."

The football star also commented on his decision to marry early, after the couple tied the knot in 2025.

“My teammates have the right to whatever they choose, but I would definitely advise them to eventually get married. It’s one of the best things I’ve experienced in my life. There’s no better feeling than coming home to a wife that loves you and cares for you.”

“I know my teammates, some of them are experiencing different parts of their life. I chose to get married young, and I don’t regret it one bit,” he said.
