Hollywood closing tops Broward weekly condo sales
Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week. Brokers closed 94 condo sales totaling $24.1 million from Aug. 18 to Aug. 24. That’s up from 42 condo sales totaling $19.6 million the week prior. Last week’s units sold for an average of $256,271, lower than the $465,448 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $233 from $335, according to data from Redfin. For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $500,000 to $1.3 million.
