Compass names new regional vice president for the Gulf Coast
Compass is welcoming a new regional vice president for its Louisiana and Mississippi region. David Favret is joining Compass in this role, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
Favret most recently served as the managing broker at Rêve Realtors, but has previously served as a broker at Latter & Blum, which was acquired by Compass in 2024.
“David understands our communities, our clients, and the unique character of real estate in Louisiana and Mississippi,” Rachel Hocevar, the president of Compass’ southern markets, said in a statement. “He was highly requested by our agents as a proven industry veteran familiar with the nuances of local markets. Bringing him on demonstrates Compass’ commitment to investing in the region.”
In this role Favret will focus on driving local growth and helping Compass agents provide the best service possible to their clients.
“Joining Compass at this moment is an incredible opportunity,” Favret said in a statement. “I’m honored to help lead our talented agents and teams in Louisiana and Mississippi, and I look forward to working closely with them to grow their businesses and serve our communities with excellence.”
Lacey Conway, the CEO of Latter & Blum prior to the acquisition, had been serving in this role, but was appointed to Compass’s executive vice president of mergers and acquisitions in May of 2025.
