2 for 1! Waterfront Washington Mansion Hits the Market for $30 Million—With a Luxury City Condo Thrown In
A newly built waterfront mansion in the exclusive Seattle suburb of Medina, WA, has hit the market for the sky-high price of $30 million. Bonus: It comes with an alluring home in Bellevue thrown in for good measure.
The dual-property offering includes the six-bedroom primary residence, which features stunning views over Lake Washington, and a luxury two-bedroom condo in the nearby city. It is the perfect combination for any wealthy buyers who are seeking the best of both worlds.
"The seller is looking for a unique buyer, so it's paired as a package. But the properties are also available individually," says the listing agent, David Martin of Windermere Real Estate/East.
Martin concedes that the buyer pool is somewhat limited, but says the properties speak for themselves in terms of their exclusivity and intrigue.

"The condo would be ideal off-site housing for friends and family, or it could be used as office space. It meets a small target market, but it's a pretty cool package and a very intriguing listing."
The asking price is $29,999,999 for the combined residences. Should a buyer be interested solely in the brand-new mansion, the asking price is $27.77 million—which is what the property was originally listed for in October 2024. The high-rise condo is listed individually for $3.17 million.
This means that a buyer would get a $1 million discount if purchasing the combined properties for $30 million.
The 12,170-square-foot primary residence was designed for grand-scale entertaining. An enormous chef's kitchen features an oversized island with a prep sink and seating for eight. An additional prep kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances.
"The dual kitchens and appliance package is tremendous," Martin says. "There are over 19 appliances, including a wine fridge, four dishwashers, two Sub-Zero refrigerators, and two Wolf ranges."
The two-story great room features a gas fireplace and a retractable glass wall that opens to an enormous patio.

"It has a 20-foot-wide entry that connects the great room with the covered outdoor area," he notes.
"There is also a 30-foot water wall and a 22-foot quartzite light wall that are both spectacular at night. The ceiling heights are surprising with 11 feet on the main floor, 9 feet on the second floor, and 10 feet on the lower level, which makes that space really livable."
A sun-soaked primary suite is surrounded by glass walls and has access to a private terrace. The lavish en suite bath has a walk-in glass shower, soaking tub, and dual vanities. A boutique-inspired, walk-in closet boasts many eye-popping amenities.
"The primary suite is just fantastic," Martin says. "The view from the bedroom is incredible. There is a spacious dressing suite with washer/dryer, a beverage fridge, coffee station, and a luxurious island for prep and organization."
There is also a wine room, home theater, sauna, and four-car garage. The 1-acre gated property also comes with a shared 32-foot waterfront with a dock.
"It's a phenomenal home that is very warm and inviting," he says. "You don't feel like you are lost in a hotel. It is the only true new construction you can find at this price level that has waterfront and a dock on Lake Washington. Normally, you can only purchase resale properties like this on the lake."
Those views have lured some prominent residents to the shores of Medina—which has long served as a sanctuary for some of the world's tech billionaires, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Charles Simonyi, a former Microsoft executive and Martha Stewart's former partner.

Bezos, Gates, and Simonyi all moved to the town at different times, each constructing jaw-dropping properties that have become tourist attractions in their own right, turning more eyes to the small enclave, which offers unrivaled views of Lake Washington and is accessed by a floating bridge.
While not located on the water's edge, the condo in nearby Bellevue does offer spectacular views, courtesy of its sky-high perch in one of the city's most sought-after buildings.
The two-bedroom condo is located on the 31st floor of Bellevue Towers, about 10 minutes away from the primary residence. Offering views of the city and Mount Rainier, the 1,946-square-foot unit features an open floor plan with spectacular glass walls.
Built in 2008, the corner condo has been modernized over the years to now offer an updated kitchen with custom cabinetry, a spacious dining area, and a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and access to a covered terrace.
The primary suite has a walk-in closet, soaking tub, glass shower, and oversized vanity with two sinks.
A $1,634 monthly association fee includes two parking spots and access to "five-star amenities," including a private dining room, fitness center, screening room, and spa.
"The condo is located in the southwest corner of the 16 stack in Bellevue Towers, so it has a view west to downtown Seattle and south to Mount Rainier," Martin notes. "The view is spectacular for both properties."
