A broker who says he arranged the $200 million sale of a Palm Beach luxury shopping center is suing the center’s buyer and seller, claiming they owe him a $3 million commission. Josh Wade, founder of Delray Beach-based Flagship Partners, filed a complaint Sept. 1 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court against affiliates of Reuben Brothers and O’Connor Capital Partners. An affiliate of London-based Reuben Brothers, led by billionaire siblings Simon and David Reuben, and Crown Onyx bought The Esplanade, an upscale shopping strip at 150 Worth Avenue, from an affiliate of New York-based O’Connor in March.
