‘One-of-a-Kind’ Palm Beach Compound Near President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Resort Hits the Market for $97.5 Million
An oceanfront Palm Beach compound located just outside the security zone that surrounds President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate has hit the market for an eye-watering $97.5 million. It features a staggering three separate abodes that now make up the "extraordinary" estate.
The 1.07-acre property is owned by British entrepreneur Alex Chesterman, who began amassing his trio of dwellings back in 2017, when he picked up the main residence for $8.75 million, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.
The following year, he acquired an adjacent property at 888 S. Ocean Blvd. for $10.75 million and razed the existing residence, building a new guesthouse in its place.
In 2019, Chesterman bought a third parcel at 893 S. County Road for $3.4 million where he demolished the home and built a tennis court and viewing pavilion.
He finally completed work on the resulting property in 2020.
The spacious estate—which has shot to the top of the week's most expensive homes list—now boasts a six-bedroom primary residence, a three-bedroom guest home, two newly constructed cabanas, two pools, and deeded beachfront.
