‘Masterfully Built’ Palm Beach Megamansion Has Price Slashed by $12.9 Million—but Still Rockets to Top of Most Expensive Homes List
A waterfront mansion on Florida's tony Palm Beach has just returned to the market for $65 million—having undergone a staggering $12.9 million price cut.
Remarkably, despite the significant reduction in price, the “masterfully built” property has still managed to shoot to the top of the week’s most expensive homes list, eclipsing the nearest competitor by $6 million.
The nearly 1-acre property last traded hands in 2019 when it is said to have sold for $25.5 million to a land trust tied to attorney Joel Koeppel.
Built in 2018, the six-bedroom "trophy estate" boasts a sun-soaked living room with Atlantic Ocean views, a dining room designed for grand-scale entertaining, and a primary suite with terrace providing Intracoastal views.
Over-the-top amenities include a staff kitchen, private elevator, fitness center, separate guest suites, a covered loggia, and boat dock.
Other jaw-dropping estates to make this week's most expensive list include a 776-acre ranch in Texas, a contemporary in Virginia with Potomac River views, and an Aspen, CO, mountain retreat.

Price: $34,900,000
Riven Rock enclave: This English country manor built in 1999 was once owned by actor Rob Lowe and his wife, Sheryl Lowe.
The seven-bedroom estate sold last year for $28.4 million. Found throughout the 11,170-square-foot interior are a gourmet kitchen, a secondary "culinary arts" kitchen, and a primary suite with 1,220-square-foot, boutique-inspired closet.
